On Tuesday 11 September Huntly Primary School invited North Central Waterwatch to participate in a Kids Teaching Kids event. 

Huntly Primary School also invited Epsom and Goornong Primary School students to visit Bendigo Creek. The Kids Teaching Kids event aimed to raise awareness of the creek including the threats, the values, biodiversity and Indigenous culture.  The Huntly school children lead twelve activities throughout the day and demonstrated their impressive knowledge of the creek.
