Land and Water Management Plan

The Loddon Campaspe Irrigation Region Land and Water Management Plan provides a framework for the management of irrigated land, water, and impacted biodiversity resources in the region.

The delivery of the  outcomes and objectives of the plan will be meet through partnership and investment into the region.

Through parentships with agencies, industry and the community priorities areas are identified for investing in works and measures in a range of areas helping to ensure public funds are focussed on both local community and Victorian Government priorities.

Victoria Government currently invests in programs delivered in partnership with Agriculture Victoria through the Sustainable Irrigation Program.

The Plan’s long-term objective is to work with First Nations people to identify opportunities for collaboration and support self -determination.

This will be done through developing a First Nation Engagement plan with a focus on caring for Country in the irrigation region.
