Residents of north central Victoria from Woodend to Swan Hill and Donald to Heathcote, are invited to be part of the conversation about priorities for land, water and biodiversity management.

Join the North Central Catchment Management Authority (CMA) and the Department of Environment, Land, Water and Planning (DELWP) at one of five 2020 roundtable sessions in March and April to have your say about what you value in the region.

Ms Nina Cunningham, North Central CMA Project Manager, said “each year we bring people together, from across the region, to talk about natural resource management. We gain local knowledge and feedback from the community, learn about current activities, identify priorities for the future and opportunities to work together. This is the purpose of the roundtables.”

“The 2020 roundtables have the dual focus of renewing the North Central Regional Catchment Strategy for 2021-27 and informing DELWP’s regional Biodiversity Response Planning. The community’s input will help guide our efforts,” said Ms Cunningham.

The dates and locations of the 2020 roundtables are:

Tuesday 17 March: Harcourt Leisure Centre Hall

Thursday 19 March: Kerang Memorial Hall

Tuesday 24 March: Charlton Memorial Hall

Thursday 26 March: Inglewood Football Pavilion

Tuesday 7 April: Daylesford Town Hall

All sessions are from 6 pm - 8.30 pm with a meal available at 5.30 pm.
