North Central Community Stream Sampling Project

The North Central Community Stream Sampling Project was funded by the Australian Government through the National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality.

The project, which was administered through the Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry's Bureau of Rural Sciences, was part of the broader Community Stream Sampling and Salinity Mapping Project that delivered on the 2004 election commitment of the Australian Government to commit $20 million to identify and manage underground salt deposits in the Murray Darling Basin.
