North Central CMA sponsors a number of events, activities, campaigns and groups each year. The organisation concentrates its efforts on supporting natural resource focused projects which are based in or will benefit the North Central Region.

Some of these recent projects include:

• Bendigo Business Excellence Awards, Environmental Category, 2007.
• Malden Food and Fine Festival, which is aimed to promote sustainable farming in the local area to a wider target market
• Bendigo 25+ event, where local children gathered to explore and develop environmental ideas and concepts focused on water.
