This program focuses on developing participant's skills in frog identification and surveying techniques. North Central Waterwatch staff offer information, training sessions, monitoring equipment and technical support through this program.
The aims of this program are to:
- Gather and map frog distribution data,
- Increase understanding of local frog species and their distribution, life cycles and habitat preference, and
- Raise awareness of threatening processes to foster an interest in frog conservation.
