The North Central Catchment Management Authority (CMA) has produced a comprehensive catalogue of detailed catchment and waterway descriptions for over 300 rivers and creeks across the North Central Region. This information may be useful to schools, community groups or individuals who are curious to learn more about the waterways in their area.

The catchment descriptions include general information about the economic, social and environmental aspects of the Campaspe, Loddon, Avoca and Avon-Richardson river catchments within the North Central region.

To select a particular waterway description, you can search by map by clicking on the relevant river catchment and navigating around according to nearby towns. Upon clicking on a waterway name, the relevant pdf file will be downloaded (for viewing or printing). Alternatively, you can search by stream name.
